Okay, all you "doubting Thomases", why not listen to what Tim Henman himself said about Murrays "anti Englishness".
On the plus side no one will give a monkeys about tennis until this time next year.
However the World Cup will be on and we will all no doubt cheering on whoever remains from these islands in a united show of support :-)

Murray isn't good enough - yet. He's only young and time is on his side.

He's had a great tournament, and I'm sure he'll get better in the next couple of years.

On a more general point, there are only two players to beat at this game - Federer and Nadal. They are a class apart from everyone else. You only have to watch their movement and shots to see the difference.

Below them, from 3rd ranked down to about 30, any of them could beat each other, so I think they are all roughly the same standard.

It's just a question of which of them will rise to replace the first two.
