No one man is bigger than the club. Sir Alex knows that and has been proven. I think after all that happened during the summer of last season the only way to keep Ronnie happy was 'if he plays another season for United he'll agree to let him have talks with them'. I'm only speculating obviously.

Sir Alex seems to know what he's doing, so why keep a 'want away player' at United.
