as other Country's, as if you win a gold for Singapore, you get about £750,000.

I remember years ago when I worked in the UAE, a local Arab won the World Ten Pin Championship, and was given a Rolls Royce from the Ruler.

Where do the countries' Olympic Federations get that much money from - and do they pay for their athletes training, living costs etc?

Our guys usually get an MBE for winning gold, at least - although I do think it's a bit funny to get another medal for winning a medal.
