Can you see Rio even getting close to the majesty ( no pun intended ) of the 2012 opening ceremony. The Pandemonium sequence ending at about 34:30 is my favourite.

Rio has it`s skyline/landscape though which is spectacular. Maybe they will play on that.

I don't care about the opening ceremony. I just want to watch the sport. Can't wait. I adore the Olympics.

I have to admit to a modicum of bias but I really do think that for the sheer depth of content, humour and emotion London`s ceremony will take some beating.
