Bought a little pot earlier as a treat to have with a little rhubarb crumble earlier from M&S, reduced to about 20p (end date bargain bin) but feeling a bit bleugh now and really don't fancy it and didn't even eat much of my tea and won't be too long to bed.

Would it be too much of a risk using it tomorrow if I fancy it then or am I best just chucking it, don't want to waste it but don't want to risk getting poorly from it either, especially as feeling a bit off now.

If not, might buy myself a mini custard pot to heat up tomorrow for it :)

cream is easy. Sniff it. If it smells fine it is fine, if it smells off it is off.
Yep, do the whiff test! Your nose is a very good life saver........
I let Mr Cake eat dbl cream that is several days out of date, he still isn't dead :-(
I find it odd that people can believe that food can go from "good" to "bad" at midnight!

Thanks all! It's not something I usually buy/use and am more prone to tummy upsets due to meds so figured it was worth a check, especially with something like cream.

Will give it a sniff test tomorrow :)
LOL Eccles. Do you just feed it to Mr E or do also partake?

If it smells OK then it's fine Eve
I've used cream a good week after the sell by date and it's been fine.
In fact, you've just reminded me that I have some in the fridge that needs using. Cornflakes for pud.
I go second Mazie.......
:o) I thought you might x
