How is it every now and again on this site the clever / snide / try to be clever comments come out? ( Just a Query, of late not happened to me, but there's time yet) I see some put a Q on and an error in the spelling, straight way they are out ( Spelling Detectives) what's the big deal, just answer the dam question if you can, the site is made up with a lot of knowledge, why cause friction, you don't get paid for your comments, the saying goes, "If you give it, prepare to take it" I did say a while back about a site I was a member of got destroyed by the smart @rses & the Ads, but it was silly comments by Grown up members, can we not ignore the miss spelt words & just get on with it, Not a moan but just an observation.

misspelt is one word.....I'll get my coat!
My dear TWR, old chap, certainly you must realize that in your last line you have a comma followed by a capital letter. It's just not done, you must know:)
Hans Brinker?

It worked, see what I mean.
617 Squadron?
Some people are just a...holes.
Unless you're referring to the obstruction of rivers in your post, 'dam' should be 'damned'.
You really do look for things to get riled about dontcha petal?

"Just a Query, of late not happened to me, but there's time yet"

so why make a post about it now?
Merely, TWR, in order to create a comedic ambiance:)
In a similar vein why are those who like to see justice served through the courts treated with disdain? Not to mention those who dislike the underhanded racism often displayed are told to open their eyes and told see the 'real world'!
TWR - this is just what goes on on sites like this - just ignore it.

AOG and I used to pick each other up on our typos all the time - we both made them then, and we both make them now - we just ignore them. It's much easier that way.
TWR: I used to get offended by everything and anything someone use to say against me on here. Now I just just walk away. There is a proportion of people on here that love to fight; it's entertainment to some of them. Don't let other people get to you mate, things could be far worse!
*used to say.

OH, I'm not Dizmo, It just makes me wonder If I get to that stage there is a button to my left, that cures it.
Ahh TWR,,, fallen foul of the Grammar Nazi's there uis the same issue when the Fun police slam the two word story threads or the music lyric threads... every site has em, either ignore em... or tease em.. ;0)
In short and a shining example for you, TWR, Slappy just weathers the storm.... I'll run for cover, I think
I have commented on this before. In the law section , where I give a lot of answers, a misspelled word could be vital to the understanding of the question. eg Quit , quite, quiet , very similar words and easily misspelt but totally different in meaning. OK in every day conversation but not in legal or technical debates. Every one has a free spell check , just use it!
Nice one DTC
I agree with the 'spell check' idea but it isn't going to help very much for words such as "quit , quite, quiet".
Well, I, for one, am going to flounce across the field for a wobbly-pop or four...Good afternoon and happy spelling, especially to those of you who are aspiring wizards.
