TdF route revealed today - looks interesting with some Flemish cobbles and Mûr de Bretagne in the first week.

A good swing through the Pyrenees, followed by a stage into Rodez (one of my favourite French towns) and then Alpe d'Huez on the very last day before Paris.

Has he got a shed for my motorbike?
And the best thing of all is that it is not coming to the UK!

It always intrigues me why the French think it is perfectly OK to inflict the "Tour de France" on other nations.
new Judge, I think the Yorkshire economy benefitted very nicely this year and will continue to do so from tourist revenue in the coming year or so.
Seen reported that Froome not happy with the course and may not ride it !!!!
I've seen comment in the cycling media that the Tour was worth £100M to the UK economy in the summer £85M of that in Yorkshire. It was a quite staggering response to the Tour, can't wait for it to come back hopefully in 2017, with any luck in Edinburgh.

Meanwhile working on next years trip...... three days in the Pyrenees looking good!!
