Can anyone please suggest a good product to protect golf shoes from the imminent wet weather.I.ve tried dubbin and shoe polish but with little success. The laces go quite near to the toe-end,whether that's the prob
lem with water getting there,I don't know. The shoes are a good make and not very old, probably one season. Thanks

I've always found dubbin to be very good on my winter golf shoes. Yes, you will still get some dampness in them because I doubt anything would remain totally waterproof during a 4 hour round in damp/wet/dewy conditions.
You are using the dubbin on leather shoes and not synthetic, aren't you?

Thanks CD,mainly leather partly synthetic. With previous shoes a golf pro warned me away from using dubbin, can't remember why.
