Play tomorrow at home to Real Sociedad (I follow Spanish footie)

With one of the most important matches in the history of Test cricket being so finely balanced at Lords, who the hell cares about (vastly inferior) football?
For the record though, my local team (Ipswich) drew 1-1 at home to Blackburn, while 'the enemy' (Norwich) got stuffed 5-0 at Fulham [which will make any Ipswich fan extremely happy!]. |

Sorry Chris, despite Best Beloved attempts to explain the finer points of cricket to me it still leaves me cold, (I'd rather watch grass grow) Still I do hope that England win and keep their place at the top of the rankings. As for footie - I prefer to watch La Liga than anything going on over here much better football imo

WBA, I kinda watched the footie prog this morning. Was that your team the ref was biased towards?
When I saw WBA V Liv, I thought of you and wondered why they were playing Livingston!!! |
|
Well I was at the game and the ref was fair, the penalties were both penalties(still managed to miss one) and we deserved our win.
One of our better players was signed from Livingston :-) |

That's the trouble with putting a 90 minute game into 7 minute highlights..It warps the truth btw ;-)

most TV coverage warps the truth and not just the footie either. Glad your side won though :-)

Dreadful start for Linfield - lost 2-0 last week and drew 0-0 at home this week. Hardly title winning form.
