Wimbledon

This probably sounds very vague ..but
Yesterday whilst watching the mens finals the camera panned to a man in the crowd a few times .He was an elderly chap ,sort of early seventies or so .Sandy haired ,wearing a blazer .He had a look of Leslie Phillips about him :) They've shown him at some of the other matches too.
I'm sure he's an old tennis player but I can't place him .
Did anyone else see him and know who he is ?

How many times would Laver have won Wimbledon for example if he hadn't turned pro before the Open era? 9? We'll never know of course

Laver was the best. After winning several in a row he turned professional and as a consequence was banned from Wimbledon for about four years until they finally accepted professionals and he then won the next two.
