Andy Murray / AEGON

A few weeks ago, Andy Murray committed himself - for a massive sum of money - to the AEGON Championships for the next five years, ensuring that he will be playing at the tournament in his 30th year. Yesterday, in his first match this year, he lost. And there are no other big names left in the draw. So much for that deal! I've long been a big fan and defender of Murray but he appears to be going backwards with Ivan Lendl as his coach - what do you think (and please no more mention of his misquoted England soccer comment)?

I like the man and think he had a fantastic shot at being at the top........I don't think it will happen now as psychologically something isn't right - not sure what.
Will Lendl still be his coach at Wimbledon I ask myself. Better if he unloaded himself with this baggage.
I think Andy Murray's biggest problem is Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.....unfortunately he seems to have chosen the wrong era to be born in, poor chap!
It wasn't any of them that put him out this week though was it?
However I do take your point.
no it wasn't, but to keep trying to catch those chaps up must be very draining!
