Thanks
Are any of the England team aware of the words of the national anthem.
thought the only sentance Rooney knew was " how much?
That's a bit unfair baza, he also asks "how old".
Rooney the Runt never sings a word of the anthem

Maybe someone needs to give him a lyrics sheet to help him?
you assume he can read..? and surely its his choice whether or not to sing it. Its not our place to judge him. Hes not auditioning for 'the Voice'
Arksided......no one is expecting him to sing it at the top of his voice, simply mouthing the words like most of the players do would suffice

Oh for the days of Stuart Pearce belting out the anthem, wearing his heart on his sleeve out on the field - the days when playing for England actually meant something
Seriously... and I do understand what you mean, but wouldn't you rather he was thinking, i'm going to play to win rather than sing the national anthem... besides he also might be listening to the fans who imo always sing it better than whoever... they have on.
I'd rather he sang the anthem and then played like a top international footballer rather than behaving like a spoilt brat, kicking people, getting sent off and missing 2 games off an important tournament
Yep I agree totally, its the Italian job conspiracy, he should have being taken off. (they Fear us!)

It always annoys me with his temperament, but hey it happened and are in the tournament ;-) maybe he could whistle.
the only time he puckers his lips is when he is told the price.
The money that is paid to England players, is donated to charity.
should have said... would be paid to players...

price of his hair-do... i can see that.
I believe it is to do with some sort of Irish connection... if so one would question his loyalties
