1 to 4 of 4

50p each way on a 10/11 would return £1.55 for 1/5th place or £1.57 for 1/4 place
50p each way on a 5/6 would return £1.50 for 1/5th place or £1.52 for 1/4 place

A 50p each way double would return £2.44 (1/5) or £2.49(1/4)

The most you'll get back is £5.58 and the least £5.49.

It depends on how many runners were in the race whether a place paid 1/5th or 1/4 the odds... :-)

Therefore you should get back at the most
Shows how long it took me to work it out..Somebody nipped in!

Ignore the last line, I didn't check what I typed before I posted.
Didn't see any winners at 5/6 or 10/11 yesterday, yt. (I was looking to see if your place odds were a quarter, a fifth or all up. Do you mean the day before?
