if liverpool qualify for europe in the premiership, or if cardiff win the carling cup, will cardiff qualify for europe?

Cardiff will have to win Carling cup to qualify for Europe. If Liverpool win Carling cup and then also qualify through the league the European place for the Carling cup usually goes to 6th place in the league and not to the runners up.

Years go I went to see Kidderminster Harriers (which is in England for the geographically challenged) play Wrexham in the Welsh Cup final..Several English clubs were always invited to play in it until the Welsh FA banned them...
If Kidderminster had won(they lost 2-1) they wouldn't have been allowed to play in the European Cup Winners Cup, as was, because they weren't members of the Welsh FA.

Cardiff are members of the Welsh FA and the Europa League place is for a member of the English FA...Unless they've changed the rules of course!
