Well I stuck with it all the way and I'm no wiser. It lived up to its title as it was so dark.
There were too many men in it, I couldn't work out who was who, and I've no idea who did it and why.
It's totally different in the Syndicate. That is a pleasure to watch and I've kept up with all of the episodes.

i agree it lost me too, not a real explosive ending either,a bit duff .....
I really enjoyed it! Don't we have different tastes - I didn't like The Syndicate this time. Good job we're not all the same.

It is hellywelly4 otherwise there would be a lot of folks out of work,(as my old mother used to say)
DS William Hepburn (Douglas Henshall) was the one who did it, but it was too complicated for me to work out why.Not a patch on Happy Valley.x
Thanks Barsel....I don't need to watch it off Tivo now.....;) x x
Oh sorry Baths, I never thought I was giving it away for those who haven't seen it. xx

I'm none the wiser! I couldn't fathom out who was who.
I loved Happy Valley too.
Lol! No worries Barsel! It's doubtful I'll ever get round to watching it anyway! x x
To be honest with you Baths, you won't be missing anything, there was no happy ending in sight either.xx
Must admit, I woke up from a sofa kip last night + saw someone grappling with Douglas Henshall! (I used to quite fancy him when he was younger,...don't think he's aged so well) ;)

I think all the dark haired men looked similar initially and that muddled me totally. It was OK, but not the best of dramas.
