Hi, Wendi..I have a friend who has always been unable to wear a tie or have his top button done up...he panics..

Many moons ago this friend became friendly with a famous hypnotist whose name escapes me....but he would visit my friend.

On one visit we had a get together where the hypnotist regressed those willing to try....

My friend went back to a former life where he had been an apothecary who had been hanged for poisoning his customers.....hence the fear of tight things around his neck....☺

Me.....well I couldn't even be hypnotised.....so I can only use my imagination to believe I was a builder of Cathedrals......x

Over 40 years ago I had an extremely vivid snatch of a dream, which I can still remember in every detail. I was a mid-Victorian gentleman and I was walking alongside a canal with another man (I'm female, by the way) that's about it, except that it was somewhere in the west of the UK (Lancashire?). On talking about it, someone assured me that that was probably a remembrance of a past life.

I too suspect we have lived past lives. Mine is a fear of drowning in this life, so I feel I was a sailor who drowned in a previous life, perhaps in WW2. Fascinating stuff.

I don't really believe in this sort of thing but Ive always been interested in the subject since the '70s when a guy called Bloxham,published a series of tapes he'd made of people under hypnosis.Some of the subjects "remembered" several former lives and revealed many obscure or unknown facts which later proved to be true,they also made as many claims which were proven to be false so their was no definitive proof either way but very interesting in any case.Another thing I seem to recall from the tapes was that the subjects voices and accents changed according to the sex,time and country they believed they had been born into.

when one of my children was about 3 years old we were sat having a chinese meal and trying out the chop sticks. he took hold of them and tried to eat some food and we were all laughing then he turned and said 'I used these when I was big' Stunned I said 'what do you mean when you were big'? he replied' before I came back from the sky' Explain that one cos I can't.

I can remember many years ago just newly moved to a house. Got some goldfish and as I put the bowl on the window sill I sensed I had done that before on the same window .

On a similar...ish...note, Wendi....my daughter had the most vivid and annoying imaginary friend when she was little.....so much so when the "friend" disappeared at a petrol station I was upset!

Recently I asked the daughter, who is now the most level headed scientist, about the friend....had she seen her....was she imagining it....

She can't explain it.....but she could see the girl when she was with her....

She was a flippin' nuisance for years though!!
