Rubber tip for snooker players

During the Masters this season, John Parrott mentioned a rubber tip he was given to try to avoid the use of chalk, so no kicks!, i wondered has he mentioned anything about it during this world...

Just watching a bit of The World Snooker Championship. This could go on all night. It is more like chess than snooker and clever as it is, it cannot be good for the game. Anyone agree?
