I've just been watching utd's players get their medals, i think it's a bit unfair steve bennett didn't get one because he might as well have stepped out in a man u shirt today !!! I'm no chelsea fan so this ain't sour grapes but those decisions today were horrendous. Come on folks you know I'm right !!!!

There is one "real" trophy, and, I think 4 replica trophies, which are used for advertising, or on TV etc. etc. Apparently, the "real" trophy was at the JJB Stadium, and a replica at Stamford Bridge "just in case."

ok, as an appendix to that question, what replaces the trophys once they need to be given back.....

i.e the holders have teh give teh trophy back, or how does it work, they get a replica to keep for teh rest of the season?

I am unsure about the Barclays Pemiership Trophy, but I do know that the FA Cup, UEFA Cup and Champions League Cup are retained by the winners for 10 months and then the trophies are returned, and replaced with a replica. Indeed Liverpool have four replica Champions League trophies and of course one REAL cup after winnng the competition three times.

Think I may have struck a nerve with almusic10 as he/she has classed me as a man u hater just because I said steve bennett should have been given a premiership medal !!! almusic 10 you are wrong, I'm not a man u hater I just call what I see and when season after season man u get ridiculous decisions going for them and other teams get let down by these decisions I get a bit miffed. But when I see man u getting silly decisions going against them believe me I'm the first to start yelling 'that's wrong!!" I would just like to see referees not appear intimidated when going to old trafford or stamford bridge, anfield or the local park for that matter. The old saying goes "these things even themselves out over a season" but for some teams they don't. I'm sorry if I offended you.

stick28, man utd are the best team in england, the ref makes bad decision for EVERY team, not just man utd is just that people like YOU are man utd haters, so get your facts right, we have had alot more against us this season than for us as far as dicisions go, you IDIOT
