So he's announced he won't be playing for Chelsea next season.

No big surprise there considering how bad they've been this season, and he says he won't play for another English club.

Would you want him at your club anyway?

While he may not be the nicest person off the pitch you cant deny he has been a great player for Chelsea.

At 35 it was no surprise.

He will probably do a year or two in the USA.

I'd have thought if he meant anything to the club they'd have kept him on for a coaching role but it seems not.

Perhaps there's more to this story!
Isn't he the last of the old guard to finally go?

Cole / Lampard / Drogba

I thought they wanted them all out ages ago, so I'm surprised he is still there.

They should ship out Costa, Hazard and Fabregas after the first half of this season.
OP, I wouldn't want him at United but do respect him as a player what he has done for Chelsea and England, a player that will give all. Think its the right decision for him.

It's better to burn out than fade away...
He should go to Manure - would feel at home with Giggs and Rooney !
Lol... ****! ;-)
