The game doesn't matter now joeluke . As long as we show solidarity and respect. Would enjoy a proper friendly, 4-4 would be a nice gesture.
I think tonight is a brave and yet difficult decision to go with. But if I was French I would play with pride. It is not irrelevant!
Can't believe Roy Hodgson asked the England fans to respect the minutes silence, what did he expect?
I've read 3 of your posts on various sports tonight! PMSL do you have any clue about any sport? Not soccer clearly!
Soccer?

Tora....it was a prediction which didn't come in. we played well against a subdued French team

If you can do any better feel free to try

Soccer is it's correct name, it comes from asSOCiation "Football" to distinguish it from Rugby or proper football.
I'm not claiming to be an expert in Soccer or as it's know writhing in "agony" - you predicted a draw not me .
I thought the opening showed great unity and was very moving - the correct decision to play was right in my view.

Mamy....totally agree, you could have heard a pin drop during the minutes silence

Tora....only the yanks call it soccer
I'm not a yank.

Then stop calling it soccer
Not true, Joe, the Irish call it soccer too...
What is "proper football"?
I know lots of Irish and I haven't heard any of them say ;soccer' ummm.
Not having any interest in football at all, we tried to watch the beginning. It doesn't really matter how it turned out, does it? Reads as if England won - again , it doesn't matter. The fact that it took place is important. --- See tonight's news about Germany.
It's the correct term.

'It's the correct term'

Yeah cos that's why we play for the SA Cup isn't it?
So,why isn't it called the SA instead of the FA?
The Irish call it soccer to distinguish it from GAA sports.
