Just got back from a very entertaining game at Leigh Sports Village home of Leigh Centurions, up untill tonight Utd were top of league with 10 pts Leicester bottom with one point. But you would not have thought so Leicester imo were the better side throughout, Utd scored first but Leicester never gave up and scored 2 in the last 5 mins of the first half. Utd equalised soon after start of 2nd half, but Leicester kept pounding away hit the post twice and bringing good saves from Utd keeper, the 4th official put up 4 extra mins but Utd fell asleep and Leicester scored deep in injury time. A really good night no theatrics, just young lads trying to get on in the fierce world of pro football, and it was free to go in with a crowd of around 5,000. If you are a Leicester fan you have a good under 21 side and that is from a Utd supporter :(

Seems as though you watched a great game of Football, the way it should be played... no theatrics from overpaid prima donna's and the like.

Correct Arksided, the only one who was like the prima donna was Tyler Blackett, and if anything he was the one who got the runaround.
With the first team defence so... lacking at the moment he may well be called back into action.
Question Author
Maybe so, but I think it would need the hair drier treatment first, he needs bringing down to earth. Ironic that Wes Brown and O'shea played together tonight and they won 3-1
Tyler may need knocking down a peg or two... but did do well for us in the first few outings.

Wes Brown with the OG... O'Shea was so adaptable however I Understand why he wanted to move on.
Good on you for watching the game, it's a shame most of them will never see first team football because of the multi million pound big name signings earning £100k a week sitting on the bench keeping them out
Question Author
True about Tyler but he looked as though he should not have been there really disinterested, listened to 2nd half of Sunderland game on 5 live they said Brown played really well.
I heard a similar thing on 'Talksport' that Wes had a great game... a mis-hap with the own goal. (It happens)

PanchySmooch, if the opportunity arises for these players why not take it, if they're good enough they will be selected.
