yes he did, scored a few then moved on, here about 6 months, 20 odd games about a dozen goals ...... no loyalty these days, as i said, journeymen footballers.

Well over-priced, Hull knew Southampton had made a lot of cash in letting their best players leave and so cleverly got an inflated price for an average player

Tonyav......my opinion of Long hadn't changed, I said at the time he could move to a bigger club and he since has - onto Hull and Southampton
