Useful for a doorman perhaps - especially if Tevez the dog is still in the Prem.
Who's we ?.
Question Author
The clue was in the question

'the greatest and second greatest players ever in the Premier league'
>>>the greatest and second greatest players ever in the Premier league'

Bergcamp and Van Persie?

Scholes and Giggs?

Aguero and Tevez?

Gerrard and Suarez?

Barton and Cisse?
Peter Withe and Gary Shaw.
Question Author
Bergcamp is no longer playing is he?
it matters not - they are all pale in comparision to Scholes and Giggs
Henry and Keane for me.
Oh the best players in the veterans 11

I think I'd have Drogba and Mata above those two or Drogba and Lampard. or Drogba and Ashley Cole......
oh, still playing. Sorry Ric, man u's days of bossing the market are over. You'll have to wait and see who chelsea and man city don't go for.
Question Author
Like we did with Scholes Giggs Beckham Neville (x2) Butt etc
Now I wonder how much they cost us
Ferdinand, berbatov, rooney, carrick, ronaldo, valencia,vidic,nani.......
I doubt many would argue that at their peak they were a fantastic crop of players but that was then and this is now, and while name and reputation gives Man U some extra appeal in the transfer market they may not be able to get the new stars in a more salary focussed market.
20 years ago Jonnie Evans is the only current "babe" and hes not going to last.

Bought very badly last year and only got beat by 8 goals.
Next season will be interesting
Keane, cole, yorke, sheringham, nistelrooy, stam, veron......
Sturridge, Ramires, meireles, Mata, Luiz, Romeleu, possibly even an on form Torres plus any little titbits Mr A can treat us to... Looking forward to it expect to get a lot closer
Question Author
a lot closer than 25
You should hope so
Just hope Di Matteo is up for the job - I would hate another sacking on a corrider - classy
