I could understand if he left for peanuts in top form but you got £50m for a striker who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

Despite his current form (or lack of it) they probably can't stand the fact that he's moved on to bigger and better things whilst they languish in mid-table mediocrity.
The once invincible Liverpool now considers their major preoccupation each season to finish higher than Everton.
Shankly and Paisley would be turning in their graves.

As Man Utd supporter, I don't understand it either. I have great respect for players that have left the club (yes even Tevez) although that situation has been funny. I still rate Torres and think he's just had a dip in form. It happens to every player, it's a shame some Liverpool fans can't see it that way. especially as they do like to dwell on the past.
