I have just received an email purporting to be a receipt for an order for itunes, totalling nearly £70. I have never in my life had any dealings with Apple or itunes, so I propose to regard this as spam/scam. It claims to be a charge on my hotmail account, but I don't see how anyone could profit by this, as I don't pay anything to hotmail. I have no intention of clicking on anything. Does anyone suggest this might not be an attempted scam ?

I have had a similar email and deleted it.
ha ha no, of course its a scam
I've had exactly the same thing three or four times, though I've never bought anything from iTunes or had an account with them. Definitely a scam.
It's a scam and a common one. If you open it there is an option to 'cancel this order'. If you click on it you get asked for your bank details for a refund!!
You do not need me to tell you what will happen if you give them!
You get a refund of £70 ?
