Yodelling today, tomorrow goosestepping and bookburnings. I never liked those Austrians.
That's extraordinary - but perhaps there is more to this than is reported, perhaps the yodeller did have a tendency to mock the muezzin, we really don't know, we only have one side of the story, IMO. Nobody of my acquaintance yodels whilst mowing.
Yes, it is extraordinary. If it’s acceptable for one fellow to caterwaul and disturb the peace, I can’t see how a complaint that someone else has done it too can be justified and upheld.

admittedly, someone yodelling at whim can be alarming, but lets not get caried away with yodelling fundamentalists taking over the world, eh.
according to Newser, it wasn't that he yodelled wen they were in prayer, he ALWAYS yodelled when they began prayer. I doubt the Austrian police would come out to deal with this for a one off, no more that your local force would
That's what I suspected - more to this than reported, not just a one-off incident.
