days, perhaps weeks have you wasted, arguing there is a God or there is not a God? how many times have you posted what is basically the same sentence regurgitated? Any honest people out there?

I don’t really think I spend time arguing whether there is a God or there is not a God, as to me the answer is clear. It is generally atheists that question this, it would seem rude to ignore their quest for enlightenment. Most often these questions fuel parallel debates as well.
I generally do repeat myself as the answer is always the same, but I try to embellish it every now and again.
Most people in R&S are honest about their beliefs and convictions. Some loiter around the edges of uncertainty and just add their two-penneth worth when somebody else says what they are too scared to commit themselves to, or just want to be seen as a gang member. But generally most are honest, even the religious ones.
No-know, you are starting to make regular appearances in R&S, are you seeking enlightenment yourself or are you looking for forgiveness for earlier transgressions?

do you think would i be able to exchange the harp for a guitar Octi??

You don’t believe? Then R&S is just the place for you. But you don’t want to be known as the person that ate all the pies do you?
Of course you can have a guitar instead, unless you are planning to play kumbaya, then it would be a no. I would suggest ….

I don't consider any of it wasted time.
If I ever felt that I am wasting my time as well as that of others here then I wouldn't be here any more. So yes I do not think its waste of time.

We do repeat ourselves, but it isn't a waste of time. A variety of people join in these conversations, offering varying opinions, and this takes the conversation along other routes. I think I can safely say we all find the subject interesting - otherwise we wouldn't be here at all.
Keyplus, I hate to remind you, but you've said more than once you were wasting your time talking to me. ;o)
It depends, are you talking about the biblical God?
Does'nt waste my time, half an hour go off and do something come back and so on.
Noami- yes you might be right to say that but do not forget that you are not the only one here and I used others as collectively.

First time poster in R&S.....
Must admit, i have wasted a lot of time reading the various threads of dicussions / disagreements / arguments over religion and find most of it quite humerous.
Seeing the non-believers and believers try and get their own points across, quoting stuff i've never heard of, does while away a good bit of quiet time at work!

Keyplus, if you noticed, I did this ;o)
................. and that signifies a joke. Get it?
....... :o)
And ^^^ that's a smile.

I think that from now on we should all use ;o) to signify a joke (which should help avoid misunderstandings of obsecene scatological proprtions) and :o) to signify a smile.
All in favour say aye.

The former uses ; which is semi colon to imitate a wink and the latter use : colon to symbolise both eyes open, I think.
