Bilal Ibne Rabah (pbuh). Moazzan e Rassol(Prayer caller of Prophet) because he was appointed on this respected role to call for the prayer by Muhammad (pbuh). A black African slave who when reverted to Islam was put through a lot of pain and punishment by his master before he was bought and set free by Osman (pbuh). From once a slave he became one of the most respected people in Islamic history and even led Islamic army where people from well respected families and tribes were under his command. He died at the age of 63 or 64. Just natural death and his grave is still visited by many in Damascus (Syria).
My own son is called Bilal after him.
