With so many believing and acting accordingly one has to wonder, "What's the holdup?"
Let's hope he texts first- otherwise it would just be rude.
End of the world and return of Jesus 'will happen in next FEW years'

In that order?
Does JC stand for Jesus Christ or Jeremy Corbyn?
From my very limited knowledge of the scriptures, Jesus will not return until everyone on the planet is aware of Jesus – so I reckon you can sleep safely for at least the next few millennia.
Oh Jackdaw you got in there before me.
Revelation is a book that written for true Christians living today. Like John, was undergoing persecution because he was a witness for Jehovah and His Son, Christ Jesus. He and his fellow Christians were living in a climate of hostility because, while endeavoring to be good citizens, they could not practice the world worship. (Luke 4:8)

So too,in some countries, true Christians today find themselves in a similar situation, where the State assumes the right to define what is “religiously correct.” How comforting, therefore, are the words found in the introduction to the book of Revelation: “Happy is he who reads aloud and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and who observe the things written in it; for the appointed time is near.” (Revelation 1:3) Yes, attentive and obedient readers of Revelation can find true happiness and many of blessings.
//" . . . for the appointed time is near.” (Revelation 1:3)

Yikes!

And this was written . . . when?

Hoorah, goodlaugh's back. I've really missed his/her non-sequiturs.

Apocalypse? Now? I love the smell of revelation in the morning.

Will there be a countdown and fireworks?
To refusal to believe reliable warnings is not unusual, especially when these pertain to something that people have never experienced personally. (Mat 24:14)
"reliable warnings"

Oh Goodlife, you are a card. :o)))
Namoi If you were in control when would you bring it then?

///To refusal to believe reliable warnings is not unusual, especially when these pertain to something that people have never experienced personally///

You have experienced it personally have you Goodlaugh?
Surely there's no requirement for a warning about the end of the Earth? What good would it do?
Goodlife, //Namoi If you were in control when would you bring it then? //

The end of the world? I wouldn't. Why would anyone want to kill billions of men, women and children?
I love the way JWs describe themselves as 'true' Christians implying that the rest are 'false' ones.
