Christian Retreat?

After a long absence I was astonished to see only three threads on here.
Maybe God has cursed this category.

O-G, that was my fault, but Theland and I used to chat together quite regularly away from here, and when I've seen him pop up on here I always ask how he is, but he has never replied, and this one was last straw for me, especially coming from a man with "Christian" values.

My understanding of God is that He refuses to be examined objectively like a science experiment. Only by faith and belief does He then reveal Himself. That is why Jesus spoke in parables, to keep the unwilling in the dark. Without commitment there is no revelation.
