Well, we still don't know which church he belongs to, so how does he expect to be taken seriously? In the unlikely event that anyone does fall for the waffle, they haven't a clue which organisation they should be joining.
Oo-er! Maybe it's not an established church at all. Goodlife/Elderman, are you trying to start your own little cult?

Naom: No I don't have a religious leader. Jesus Christ is my leader. (Matt. 23:10) So I don't look to any man, priest, rabbi, pope, vicar etc.
And clearly, cults are generally understood to be religious groups with radical views and practices that clash with what is accepted today as normal social behavior. Usually they conduct their religious activities in secrecy. Many of these cultic groups actually isolate themselves in communes. Their devotion to a self-proclaimed human leader is likely to be unconditional and exclusive. Often these leaders boast of having been divinely chosen or even of being themselves divine in nature.

I suppose that, conceptually, you can have a cult and a commune of one, though I better know this as a state of hermitage.

Elderman, you don't have a religious leader, but you want us to listen to you and accept what you say. What does that make you then?

A rabbi(t) perhaps....?

He may well enjoy that as his ramblings would suggest "Opus Dei" and they do love a bit of flagellation - goes alongside all the young boys as well.

Opus Dei? Doubt it. You've been reading too much Da Vinci Code. ;o)
Actually, I was in Rome when the founder of Opus Dei, a certain Senor Ecsriva, was canonised (having been fast-tracked through the formalities required for sainthood). What a palaver!

Naoni: It was Tuesday, Nisan 11. Three days later, Jesus Christ would be put to death. This was his last visit to the temple. On this day, Jesus imparted an important teaching to the crowds that had gathered there and to his disciples. He said: “Do not you be called Rabbi, for one is your teacher, whereas all you are brothers. Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One. Neither be called ‘leaders,’ for your Leader is one, the Christ.” (Matthew 23:8-10) Clearly, Jesus Christ is the Leader of true Christians.
