Somthing along the lines of "You are under arrest for Criminal Threatening, you do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned, something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence"

I would say something like "You do not have the right to threaten me and I am going to report you to the authorities for doing so".

Some human rights are absolute - like the right to life
Some like the freedom of speech are not.
There are limitations to the freedom of speech in areas like threatening behaviour, behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace etc.
If you google absolute human rights you'll see what I mean

I do not believe in all out freedom of speech. There should be some sorts of limit on what people say as respect should be given to few issues that might be sensitive.
An old saying “the wounds of sword may heal after a while but wounds given by the words never heal”.

keyplus90, you're in danger of muddying the water here.
Freedom of speech should not be curtailed - and isn't - just because it treads on toes in sensitive areas or causes offence.
This discussion is about making illegal threats.
