As you evidently already know, people like you and me can post questions and/or give answers (or various other types of responses) that the questioner can themselves respond to or rate by awarding stars if they wish.

Although this site is based in the UK, people from around the world are welcome (and for the most part, encouraged) to participate. You ‘speak’ English well. May I inquire how this is so?

Anyway, I am pleased to personally welcome you to answerbank Gentlelady. As your username suggests answerbank could benefit from having more people like you (myself not being a lady nor always gentle) to share your experiences and knowledge or just to ask questions that give us something to think carefully about.

This site ‘speaks’ volumes for itself, however, if you have a specific question about procedures, someone (like Octavius) will most likely be happy to help you . . . kindly disregard the rest . . . <?

I hope you find many helpful friends here.

Good points: As long as you don't use swear words, you can express any opinion you like.

Bad points: Other people can say what they like to you, and some people can be cruel and insulting.
