Teen Modelling Portfolio

My teen daughter would like to become a model (alongside school work obviously) but im being very careful, making sure everything is reputable etc.

She wants to create a portfolio, but i am unsure on how this works. What should i google-search to find local portfolio-builders? And how can i look out for scams etc.

Thank you, ask any questions.

Excellent Rating
A professional portfolio will cost a great deal of money.

These are all reputable agencies:
Storm models
Isis models
Premier
Models 1
IMG
Select Model Management

This is Storm's site and has excellent advice:

At this stage, she doesn't need a portfolio - the agency will want to see her as she is, not professionally posed and made up. If you don't live near any of those agencies, take some photos yourself of her as she is. Get a friend to do it if you really are hopeless with a camera.

Send a few off - they will tell you if it's a road worth pursuing.

i think i have heard of one called uglies but it dooesnt mean 4 ugly people they do hands feet eyes ers just parts of bodies that they use for advertising i think to replace models bad bits but this was years ago
look on web sites and they do say a good model shouldnt have to pay for a potfolio as if the agency knows they can earn of the girls career then they will be glad 2 sign your daughter up good luck. i hope shes tall enough if not there is glamour modeling so find out what height she is and if shes on the short site im afraid there is little hope in the fashion world good luck tiara
