not really my thing, in small doses men can look very smart in them, not something that should be worn often as the novelty would wear off quickly

Absolutely! Nothing sexier than a man in a kilt, especially my hubby in his. Even better when he wears it commando ;-D

"A SCOTS visitor has complained about the "dignity, morals and respect" of women in Stalybridge - after her husband was repeatedly groped because he was wearing a kilt.

She wrote to the M.E.N. to air her grievance, claiming that he was groped five times under his kilt as they attended a friend's party in the town. "My partner found it degrading and highly offensive, as did I and our friends", the woman from Glasgow said."

MiniN - only if I can get groped by English women like the guy in Gromit's answer. Think I'll move to Stalybridge!

Oh god yes!!

What Gromit says is an important point though. I met one kilt wearer at a ball because he was being groped by my pi$$ed friend who wanted to see what he had on underneath. I was appalled and thought her behaviour was bang out of order, told her to behave and quickly turned the conversation to what type of tartan and the best places to fly fish. 3 years later he is still a good mate.

In fact my last two boyfriends have been kilt wearers!! Which is not bad considering I live in Suffolk.

Because I'm a scot I have to say yes and I mean it but-as with shorts-some guys should not and I repeat NOT wear it. I was in the supermarket on Sunday chatting to a friend when this enormous mountain of a fellow hove into view and he was wearing these electric blue 3/4 shorts with white flowers!!!!! Need I say more?

What is this obsession with women wanting to grab kilt-wearer's bottoms legend? I just don't get it-mind you having been married to the same guy for 35 years I suppose I just think you've seen one...Many years ago my 2 brothers got dressed up in their kilts to go first footing on Hogmanay. Anyway my mother, bless her, thought they looked so handsome she decided to take a photoand at the moment she pressed the shutter they lifted their kilts. I did see that photo but it seems to have disappeared as I am now keeper of the family photos so I can't pass it on, sorry
