Don't Reply to offensive posts

Posting this in the Culture Section, Abers offended my offensive posts don't reply then the culprits will get the hint and hopefully disappear. Chatterbank is good for a bit of banter but it is spoiled by derogatory and annoying posts and posters. I avoid it and stick to the "sensible" categories!!

I agree with your idea mary, the problem is that no one will resist feeding the trolls, the key to getting AB back on track is by using moderators to police the posts.

Well I've certainly not responded to any. And I certainly don't intend to. I've noticed on a few threads if no one replies he replies himself (under a different name) so let the freak talk to himself..

There is also the problem that if everyone ignores the posts in CB the trolls may go to other sections on the site. this had aloready happened in some places

It's just a shame that some of them like 'noknowledge' who have probably driven their real-life freinds away with their lack of wit and are now trying - without success - to be funny on here. Note noknowledge's (or should that be nointelligence's) post in animals and nature 'I'm thinking of getting a rottweiller, should I get rid of the children first' I'm starting to stay away from the site more often than I visit nowadays.
