Misconception : Why do people think farmers are posh ?
We farm a few acres, and support our workers and also the local community. We enjoy the finer things in life when we can afford them. I send my son Miles to a private school, because I would like him to have a better start in life. Why do some of the minorities on here think we are posh or aloof ?.

Yes, very tedious now. An unconvincing act.
I presume somewhere in code1land, this is all highly amusing.

Surprisingly perhaps, some of us here do speak French, so your nonsense doesn't impress. However, your rudeness in addressing people in a language that they possibly don't understand displays your very distinct lack of breeding.
And yes, you are becoming incredibly boring - but little things, very clearly, have a knack of pleasing little minds, so do please continue if you want to - and enjoy!
Au revoir.

My dear girl, if you understood French you would have known that I have not exchanged any unpleasent terms whatsoever..
Je tiens à vous exprimer notre gratitude.

I am not a girl, I speak French very well indeed and I haven't accused you of exchanging terms of any sort. However, elsewhere you've referred to someone, who clearly has no understanding of the language, as a 'cochon'. Well bred? I think not.

One think's that may have been the answer to the user who insinuated that all farmers looked like pigs with Red faces...
People are very quick to give an opinion on here, yet when the banter gets batted back, they get upset.
Kind regards and best wishes Newmarket Farm

Is it just me, or does all this cod poshness (complete with errant apostrophes) have the whiff of a Ward-Minter wind-up behind it?

Is this a reincarnation of the 'Village Vicar'?
|
|
|
You beat me to it, stewey, the style is almost identical to the Village Vicar!

Yes, naomi, he certainly was - and Hi to you too :-)

So having established that, why are people still arguing with him 60 posts later?
I don't understand why you don't let it lie.

It was established some time ago. I think you'll find people are chatting amongst themselves now - and you've just added your bit.
