Sadly the Man I would have nominated passed away last year. Sir John Harvey Jones former ICI Chairman who was on Television as a Business trouble shooter. No nonsense from him . He would have had a good go at sorting out the terrible mess Brown and his partners in crime have got us into. Thats the sort of person that is needed,.God knows how long it will take to start us on the road to recovery. Our beloved country utterly betrayed by Blair and Brown.2" World wars fought and won by our brave troops .Endless lives sacrificed to give their families a better place to live in and be free. What a waste. Will the damage ever be repaired.

Jeremy Clarkson.

Do I really need to give a reason?

Apart from being a demigod, I quite like his outspoken views on the environment, Americans, cars, politics and speed cameras. Another plus factor, it would pee so many people off.

Just curious, patsyann, (I don't live in the UK), but what is the mess that you are talking about, and the road to recovery from what?
