As a kid I watched Orwells 1984 and now I see it coming true. I want to watch it again but cannot find the film on DVD or VHS. Do our Orwellian rulers have an unofficial ban on this film? Why has it not been on TV for years? It has quietly been allowed to disappear and this is frightening in itself. Where can I find a copy of this film? Make sure you watch it as well! Watch out for those cameras. Its only a matter of time before they are in every room of your house! If you dont know what I am talking about. Find out! Insidious is an interesting word.

How odd. It was on TV within the last couple of years. Also, it is clearly available to buy from Amazon (the John Hurt / Richard Burton version).
However, I do have concerns on the use of CCTV to track down litter bugs and to issue parking fines in absentia.
It has been on Sky recently, in fact it was on a lot as it seemed that whenever my daughter put the tv on, it was on and I always seemed to see the same bit of the film over and over again too

Many on offer on Ebay. Search '1984 dvd' and you'll see quite a few, including different productions, in amongst plenty of other DVDs that include those words in the listings.

If you are having difficulty tracking down the film you could always read the book ....................................
