My t leaf neighbor has whinged coz I sent him a threatening letter. He has fenced off some of my land coz he wants rear access to his shed.

The cops phoned at 10pm with his complaint.

I threatened to sue for title theft. The strip is 16m x 6m.
It does rather depend what the contents of the letter were, they have to respond in some way to a complaint.

Maybe a straightforward warning before legal action would have been the better course.
Cross posted, that's quite a chunk - get him sued.

Mamya, it could cost a fortune to sue. I would rather he bought it.

Am surprised the twonk didnt contact me instead of bothering cops.
Why don't you just "unfence" it?

The complaint is my letter I think, as it was hand delivered by 2 female friends (witnesses if needed)

Am not strong enuf to remove fence. The posts are concrete set, that would be hazardous to livestock treading & could damage hooves.
if it was me i'd get a solicitor involved...i dont wish to be rude to anyone who has answered on this thread but opinions wont help a solicitor will..good luck

Wooden, get a chain saw, concrete, a stihl saw.

As Bernie says, solicitor, but BM will I'm sure be happy to offer advice (she's good at that, lovely lady so she is)

I've had free 30mins, hence the letter. Am warned fees could be £150k & no exes refund. I can't afford that!

Is he not in the wrong for 'taking' your property? It sounds like scare tactics so that you don't take the action that is in your letter. That is a big chunk of land he has taken - you should keep at him.

JCB = problem solved! He complained to cops & theyve threatened to arrest me for criminal damage! Ive got my land back & cops can effff off ;)
Looks to me like the Old Bill have got their knickers in a knot. If you have the title deeds the land is yours, as I understand, you have the right to remove the fence and send neighbour from hell the bill. But it's worth taking legal advice. But If it goes to court and you win, which it sounds like you will, he will have to pay your costs and for the removal of the fence from your property. Or if you don't use the land you could offer to let him buy it.
