...can we get a promise from Brexit to shut the hell up for a month or two?

No - seriously...would that be too much to ask?

AB has been flooded with Brexit threads over the past six months, and I fully support the idea of them being able to crow over a successful campaign, if we decide to leave the EU...

...but by the same token - can the Brexiters promise to...just pipe down for couple of weeks...if they lose?

Not another Brexit thread!
Not a cat in hell's chance, sp. The conspiracy theorists will be out in force claiming the result to be a stitch-up - some have already said as much on these pages. Others, arrogant to the nth degree, will claim that the 'stupid' vote has won. They won't accept a 'remain' result, quietly.

Really?

That's disappointing.
Why should they, that is if they can get in amongst all the jublications from the 'remainers'.
SP....my best guess is that the Referendum will be a close-run affair, so whatever the result, its unlikely that it will all forgotten about on the 24th June !

You know what? I agree with you, but with one exception...

I think it will be close, but chose to remain, the Bremain camp will breathe a sigh of relief...however, if chose to leave, we will literally not hear the end of it from Brexit. It seems to be heading to us leaving at the moment...that's my gut feeling.

No-one I know is voting to leave, but that's in no way representative.

One further thought..,if we vote to leave Cameron will resign, right?

If we vote to stay will Farage resign?

Actually...now thinking about it - what would he resign from???

I am with you here. And if it all goes wrong, we the stayer inners will not whinge either!!!!
Me neither Pied.
and I know plenty of people who want in. All that proves is that we move in very restricted circles.
what sets this campaign apart from every other in recent memory, is the amount of people on both sides who have the notion that their vote - whichever way that is - will make the slightest difference. if the vote is to stay, nothing will happen. if the vote is to leave, nothing will happen for ages, very few of today's voters will live to see any effects. it's not like opting out of the scouts, it'll take years to disaggregate the UK.
As stated above, we shall have a flood of " It was a fix" threads.
You need look no further than the 'once in a generation' referendum foisted on us by the thin lipped midget up here.
No sooner was she and her Brigadoon fantasy rejected than she was angling for a re-run.
They don't like it up 'em.

Perhaps not straight away, but at least we won't have the threat of Europe hanging over us, along with all the implications that means.

aog at 16:24 - let's hope so !
Its simple...if you don’t like the threads don’t read them.....
Not from me, when all the months of stored up *** arrive in a perfect storm you'll be getting a lot of I told you sos from me. I will never shut up until our country is free from tyranny. If you ABC lot had an ounce of guts you'd be backing our nation rather than treading it in with your treacherous buddies.

It's not as simple as that...with the volume of pro-Brexit threads over the past few months, it's easy to accidentally miss the black people / Muslim people / other assorted minority threads.
