Having just waded through this lot

it appears that email clipping was a common problem prior to the Gmail app being updated. So perhaps you've not got the latest version?

Alternatively, simply using a generic email app (rather than Gmail's own one) to view your Gmail would also seem to offer a fix.

I can try but have you checked the website that I have linked? I do not understand the guide.
You say you are on Android, but the site you linked to is for gmail in a browser window. Presumably, if you are on Android, you are using the gmail app (or you should be!)
If you read through the multitude of posts in my first link, you'll see that Gmail messages (of over a certain size) weren't displaying correctly in the Android Gmail app, meaning that the information in your own link is irrelevant (because the option to show the full email that appears in browsers using a Windows PC is missing within the Android app).

As stated above, it seems that an update to the Gmail app resolved the problem (which is why I suggested that you might still have an older version of the app on your Android device, meaning that you should seek to update it).

While TheChair states that you should be using the Gmail app, you can actually access Gmail via any email app. So, if you can't get the Gmail app to work properly, you simply need to use a different app for your emails.

Here is the instructions that I have been following:

Click the down arrow next to Reply.
Select Show original.
Click in your browser's address bar.

Make sure the entire URL is highlighted.
Hit Ctrl-C (Windows, Linux) or Command-C (Mac).
Go to the Open Entire Gmail Message page.
Hit Ctrl-V (Windows, Linux) or Command-V (Mac).
Hit Enter or press the Open Entire Message button.

I used the open entire gmail message page (http://email.about.com/library/misc/bl_gmail_open_entire_message.htm) but when i typed in the website url, I got a message saying "Please enter the desired gmail message's source view URL"

Btw, I have updated my gmail app but it is not much different fromm my old gmail. I tried following the instructions of the site that I have linked, using the browser gmail.

I'm lost!

Simply install Type Mail and configure it to work with your Gmail account. Your email will then (hopefully) display as it should:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trtf.blue&;hl=en_GB
Listen carefully, I will say zis only once (more).
You say you are on Android, but the instructions you are trying to follow are for Windows,Linux, and Mac.

As Buenchico says, either update the gmail app, or install an alternative email app.
Typing to slow again
Just an additional thought:
If you've updated the Gmail app it WON'T make existing truncated emails readable (as they'll have been stored on your device without the necessary button to do so). It will only affect NEW emails.

In other words. It is useless, considering that I wanted to read my old emails. G+ sucks!
