The atheist experience is a phone in show in Austin Texas, I very often watch their shows on youtube. It never fails to amaze me that so many Christians phone in to attack or debate the subject that actually know nothing about what they are debating.

The main host is Matt Dillahunty, who clearly knows more about the Bible than all the callers put together.

No question, just thought I would share, it keeps me amused for hours!!

While the religious can often rote quote selected biblical passages they have little idea of the context.

Many atheists know the Bible much better and run rings around the believers.

Totally agree Beso, as demonstrated so regularly on this show!
While I enjoy these born-again Christians getting owned by well educated, erudite people, I also recognise that logic and rational has never played a part in the formation of a religion, and its not going to start now. If people acted logically in the first place, we wouldn't have any religions ! If anyone wants an example of how credulous religions can be, they only have to look at Scientology.

Arguing with them is fun but ultimately pointless, because the more they are challenged and questioned, the more they retreat into mists of fantasy.

Debating with people like this caller is like trying to nail custard to the wall.
Great video.

It always amazes me that some religious people think that they can "prove" the existence of their God by quoting from their holy book. They obviously don't grasp the concept of circular reasoning.
^Indeed. Their book says it’s right, therefore it must be right. I’ve yet to meet anyone of religion who can offer a rational argument.
