I leave my poppies at the local war memorial once the day has passed
It's certainly not disrespectful

Given that yesterday's events were unusual it's difficult to say what would be regarded as 'normal'. People often wear them for a few days after the November annual services.

I'm wondering if some might now wear them for the next four years?
I have a small lapel badge poppy that lives full time in my hat band and has done for several years.Wear it with pride for as long as you want.
Should you worry about what others think ?
Do as you wish, with good intent.
Not sure why wearing your poppy should be "disrespectful" Spreeny...am I missing something here ?
