I didn't like it, but i know someone who does, come in Chapta...
I saw it years ago when Sarah Brightman made an appearance and loved it but think I would find it a bit dated now.
Me, and I loved it, but was disappointed with the latest version (saw it last month) because of a change they made. Don't want to tell you about it as I don't wish to spoil it for you. It is an excellent musical and the singing is superb.

Mind you, I didn't see it in the West End, saw it in Manchester.

Well it has been running for 25 years so I should think quite a few have seen it by now !
I saw it when Michael crawford took the lead and Sarah Brightman the heroine, but i didn't like the music much either.
Thousands upon thousands of people love it; but I'm not a fan of Andrew LW's music. I saw it in the West End last month and thought it was a bit tiresome.
I saw it on Broadway and didn't really like it, but I know someone who's been to see it about a dozen times. One mans meat is another mans poison!
Seen the show in Her Majesty's, Haymarket four times over the last twenty years or so. Loved it every time. Great music, super staging and great storyline (for romantics).
Did not enjoy the film.
