You'd think someone who was clever enough to hack into an account would take steps not to get caught, unbelievable. Probably was someone famous.
Don't you think that it's interesting that the victim was (presumably) American, that Facebook is American and the case was heard in the UK.

surely the need for phone hacking of celebs has gone now, they post it all on twitter these days

Wow, for Facebook?
Must have been a senior US govenment official or some one very important in USA for the FBI to be involved.
Indeed, for my money to be wasted on a hacked FB a/c I'd want it to be the President's account :D
Like I said, it depends what they done with the account.
Worries me that senior officials or diplomats are daft enough to have face book accounts. It is well known that FB can never be fully secure .
