Just got a call to tell me that my v good friend's grandaughter has been still born. Don't know what I can say to her (by text). She is with her daughter right now so can't ring. Still, I feel the need to make sympathetic contact. Suggestions please. Thank you..

that's sad - all you can do is be there when she needs you. Very sad, after 9 months' carrying what was presumably a healthy baby...

So sorry for them. A horrific thing to happen to anybody. Our niece was stillborn. When the dust settles a little recommend SANDS charity to them.
They are amazing.
