Well Tb - you've just given yourself the answer! lol
cushions and table runners are the easiest starting point!

have you been on ebay and seen the second hand sewing books/mags?

they give you loads of ideas and often step-by-step instructions!

Dt i have them! They were done but unfortunately cannot hand in now untill april/may...i live at home she came in at 5pm asked if i was ok (
(id prev said to dad none of them had bothered to ask)

I told her not to bother asking me if im ok 5hrs later after the way she acted.... As usual something material comes later- new pyjammmas. Didnt want pyjammas i just wanted the support but ive said before on here its always the same :0(((

Mrs O thanks ill do that!!!!! I got to thinking i better finish One project 1st lol xx
I've been on a bit of a sewing jag recently cos I have a huge bag full of scrap material. Some of the things I've made include:
Jam jar covers (circles cut out with pinking shears)
A needle case
A covered recipe book
Bunting
Egg cosies
A peg bag
Padded coathangers
Fabric flowers attached to hairbands
Cushion covers

If you want any instructions on how to make any of the above, just ask
A tote bag
Good, tinkerbell, if I was you, even if you weren't sure, I would ask your tutor to have your paper checked to see if the references were there, i,e paper clip or staple marks....then how to appeal the decision, with the fallback that you can re-submit.

As to Mum, she was probably shocked and taken back, so yes, she may have over-reacted and given that she has offered you a "jammy" peace offering, may I suggest that you consider giving her a little slack.

You only have one Mum and there are many more important things that you may need her for in the future, and vica versa......this is not worth losing steam on, on either side. Head down and see her in your jammies and a cocoa, cognac, wine whatever............

As to fabrics etc, not my scene, the art side is and just let loose with some acrylics and a large canvass and see what you come up with, having seen the pics...
Start on your patchwork for cushions. When you have enough you can turn the cushions into a duvet. Some good sewing ideas on YouTube that may interest you.

My problem DT is i KNEW id eventually get given something its always been that way- and after almost 25yrs of it..material things just dont quite "cut it" id really rather i was able to have emotional support but i cant and never will :0((

Mrs O i thought about a wee tote bag!!! And mabye cushions... I added more patches to my quilt and also a larger panel of fabric to pad it out in size a bit and untill i can afford more patches of similar colours!

Ill also see youtube tambo thanks xx
