Marriage records

I want to confirm the date (I know the month) of a friend's wedding in Richmond Surrey as her 25th anniversary is coming up. Is there a free easy site to do a search?

No but as a present you could buy a copy of their marriage certificate and present it as a present in a silver photo frame thus killing two birds with one stone, you can get the copy from the Richmond register office.
The Register Office, 1 Spring Terrace, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1LW.
Tel: 020 8940 2853 or 020 8940 2651. Fax: 020 8940 8226.
E-mail: registeroffice@richmond.gov.uk
