I am of the opinion that Carole Vordeman (Countdown) has the frumpiest taste in clothes ever, and just continually gets it wrong all the time. What does anyone else think?

Yes, she does have weird taste in clothes. Her hair and make-up are fine, but the clothes are horrible.

Have to say mally, when I do get a chance to watch Countdown, Carol Vorderman's dress sense, over white porcelain smile & silly laugh is rather off putting!
Apart from that she's a very clever girl!

I wouldn't mind being half as brainy as her, but I think someone should tell her that she is getting some things very wrong. I know it was a shallow question, but some random things just bug you sometimes, don't they?

I always used to enjoy the 'banter' between CV and Richard Whitely, because neither of them would know what a sense of humour was if it jumped up and bit them!
Because of this, he would make a 'joke', she would never be sure if it was supposed to be funny or not, so she would emit that braying noise that passes for laughter in the terminally humourless. He, equally unsure if he was funny or not, would grin his death's head grin, and make that faint noise like a badly misfiring lawnmower, that in him, signified nervous and unsure amusement, or as near to it as he could get.
She is a nice looking woman with bad dress sense who has turned a poor degree and a knack at maths into a multi-million pound career - which I respect - but not very much.

She's a '5 pinter' now but wasn't bad ten years ago.

I think she tries too hard. When she started on Countdown, she was very nerdy looking, then she lost loads of weight and suddenly assumed she was 18 again. I think she does tend to dress too young for her age and should go for a sassy, but classy look for a woman of her age.
